SMA Architects completed an adaptive reuse project of a downtown Helena warehouse that previously served as the State of Montana's Old Liquor Warehouse prior to it being the State's print and mail processing center for many decade. Designed to pay respect to the historic structure originally constructed in the 1930's, the brick and warehouse was left intact, with an added entrance to fufill ADA requirements, and add a focal point to the building. Large windows adds natural light and many historical features, such as the stamped concrete columns, were left to highlight the building's rich history.
