The Future is Bright for Montana PBS!

On Tuesday afternoon, we kicked off an exciting new chapter with the groundbreaking of Montana PBS and MSU’s Visual Communications Building! This addition and renovation will bring Montana PBS, KGLT Radio, Shakespeare in the Parks, and MSU’s School of Film and Photography together under one roof with a shared lobby.

For the past 8 years, this project has undergone planning and has raised $31.5 million in funds! The addition will contribute another 32,000 square feet to the soon-to-be-renovated building. This project will be pivotal in meeting the present needs of Montana PBS and MSU, ensuring its preparedness for an evolving, technology-driven future.

The celebration was led by MSU President Waded Cruzado, MSU faculty, the Montana PBS team, our design and construction team, and lots of community friends. Of course, special appearances were made by Clifford the Big Red Dog and Champ, adding to an already unforgettable day!
