Montana Hospital Association
The Montana Hospital Association's design responds to the steeply sloping site in the south hills of Helena. The building was sited on the east/ west axis to take advantage of passive solar design, while capitalizing on the site's slope. In addition, the site's location in the south hills provided the opportunity for the design to capture the tremendous views of the Helena valley and the Sleeping Giant in the mountains north of Helena. The building entry and board room were specifically aligned to provide unobstructed views from the building entry through the building to the Sleeping Giant. The building program includes traditional office spaces, in addition to smaller team collaboration spaces and a roof top exterior gathering area adjacent to the board room.
