SMA had the great opportunity to work alongside Grant Bronk as he brought his vision of LaParilla Grill, founded in Bozeman, to a franchise in Helena. The LaPa Grill location on W 6th Ave took over an existing space that served a variety of functions and transformed it into a fresh, hip - funky, gathering hub for Helena families, and youngsters. The design of the open kitchen was a collaboration between SMA and J&V Restaurant Design & Supply. With a variety of seating configurations from a soft entry bench followed by booth seating, a centralized bar height community table, and regular height dining tables; there is a feeling of being able to find your personal comfort within the space.

 

Dark walls paired with purposefully placed accent lighting highlight artwork selected by Grant. The feeling created at LaPa is come and enjoy, hang out and be. The ultimate success of this project feel into the hands of Grant and his contracting team as they took the vision and construction documents and built them into the reality that is LaPa.  

 

LaPa is a great addition to the downtown food scene and we are thrilled to be a small part of its story.
