Klint Fisher, AIA, NCARB
Principal + Director - Helena
Living and raising a family here in Helena is truly a blessing. Having been raised in Montana, I have a deep appreciation of the opportunities that this wonderful community offers a young family. My lovely wife and I enjoy spending time in the outdoors with our two teenage sons hiking, biking, skiing, snowboarding, camping and fly-fishing all while trying to manage a 95 pound Labrador. In addition to spending time outside, my wife and I appreciate supporting our children in their other pursuits including academics, music, art, sports, entrepreneurship and church activities. Through volunteering, coaching and being involved where we can, we have developed life-long friendships here in the Helena Valley.
Practicing architecture has provided me the opportunity to give back to the community that means so much to my family. After receiving my Master of Architecture degree from Montana State University (Bozeman), my fifteen year career has been focused on public, community-centered projects for K-12 education, higher education, municipal, and non-profit clients. It gives me great pride to see the buildings I have had a part of designing make a difference in the place I call home.
Since joining the talented and energetic team here at SMA, I have had the privilege working alongside my colleagues, our consultants and clients on a number of inspiring projects including the New BlueCross BlueShield of Montana Headquarters Building, Montana State University Yellowstone Hall, Intermountain Providence Home and the Montana Hospital Association (MHA) Office Building. In my role as a project manager, I take great pride leading our clients through the design process and helping them realize their dreams for a new building.
