After a few Montana fishing trips in my youth, I eventually escaped North Dakota and set my sights on Bozeman. The outdoors brought me here and school kept me here resulting in a Masters and a job with an awesome company in a place that I love.
Design for me is multifaceted, as should its presentation and exploration. This is why I feel very fortunate to work with a team that has helped me progress in not only construction documentation, but also graphic design and design development. I’ve been involved in a variety of project types including building branding and graphics for Yellowstone Residence Hall and Bluecross Blueshield of Montana Headquarters, Ophir School Technology building, and some residential projects that have pushed me to take on new challenges and responsibilities. I’m excited to see what the future will bring for the SMA team and their influence on my experience in our ever evolving built environment.
When I’m not at work you can probably find me, depending on the season, hiking and backpacking, climbing, snowboarding, or skating. If I’m not doing any of those things I’m probably traveling or starting a project and hanging with my goldfish, Zumthor.
