Yellowstone Hall Awarded with 2017 Innovator Award  -  6.12.17

What an honor to be named the 2017 Innovator Award for Best Architecture/Design On-Campus by the Student Housing Business. Yellowstone Hall was completed in 2016 with our partners, NAC Architecture, with the challenges of a short timeline and tight-budget. This 400-bed residence hall was completed on-time and on-budget with effective collaboration with our partner firm, and the contractors, Langlas and Associates.

Yellowstone Hall stood out in this national award with the following criteria:

  • How the project blends form and function

  • How the project fits into the campus fabric

  • How the project uses green features to both serve the mission of the college/university as a forward-thinking institution as well as achieve operations and management cost savings

  • How the project best met the needs outlined by the university.

Yellowstone Hall is a LEED Gold Certified building on Montana State University's Bozeman campus.
