Architect, PAR Lead
Raising two young daughters with my husband, I value spending time with my family - seeing the joy and creativity that duplos and markers bring to the world. I try to see the beauty in those everyday moments and relate those experiences to building and space design. I love building relationships with clients and learning how our design can help them in their day to day work and home lives. Working with the team at SMA, we bring fun and a common-sense approach to our projects, and we love being the folks that you can always call with questions!
My experience ranges from custom residential design to preliminary architectural reports to commercial projects such as hospitals, behavioral health facilities, historic renovations, and non-profit work. An additional aspect of my work with SMA includes Montana Department of Commerce’s CDBG and HOME (and others) grant planning (preliminary architectural reports), design, and construction projects. One of the best things about being at SMA is the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from big to small, from old to new. I believe that each space should be designed with intention and experience.
In my free time (when I find some), I’m a part of the YWCA of Helena Board of Directors and also an artist. It’s incredible seeing what people can accomplish working together. Learning from these experiences, my goal at SMA to listen to ideas, hopes, and dreams, and by doing that, create spaces that elevate clients’ experiences.
