Ali Martin, AIA, NCARB
My work at SMA consists of a wide variety of experience in conceptual design, design development, construction documents, presentation graphics, and marketing as well as client interaction and consultations. I love bringing projects to life through the details of project management and working with multiple stakeholders.
During my time with SMA, I have worked on a number of different projects including the design and documentation of Montana State University’s new Hyalite Hall, Yellowstone Hall and Gallatin Hall, University of Montana's Student Life Master Plan, and the design of Helena's new steampunk-themed Farmer's State Bank. I have also been involved in interior and exterior renovations to both commercial and residential properties. I am active in all aspects of project design and development as well as marketing and business development.
In addition to working at SMA, I am involved with the Exchange Club of Helena, graphic design projects for the Big Hole Tourism Association and have worked at several architectural firms previously. According to the office, my claim to fame is for my baking and skijoring awards. I also keep busy raising two young kids and hiking the local trails as often as possible!
