Charley Franklin named one of Bozeman's 20 Under 40 Influential People - 2.27.18
Franklin, SMA's associate principal architect, was named one of Bozeman's 20 Under 40 in the Community. Honored at a luncheon on February 26, Franklin was amazed by the diversity and positivity of the leaders being honored, some of which included NASA researchers, business men and women, enterpreneurs, scientists and conservationists.
Charley was quoted in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, "I'm trying to find ways architecture can help people in their daily lives. My goal is to leave the built environment better than I left it." As an active volunteer in many of Bozeman's organizations, including Special Olympics and Youth Soccer, he says, "I feel this community has given me a lot and that it's important to give back. Volunteer work really recharges my battery and reminds me who I am. It's a powerful thing and feels very fulfilling."
