Becky’s work at Schlenker & McKittrick Architects includes broad experience in conceptual design, design development, construction document preparation, presentation graphics, and marketing (including client interaction and consultations).
Becky focuses on special-needs housing and has designed group homes for mentally fragile residents, updated group homes to meet ADA and UFAS standards, provided concepts to renovate and expand nursing homes, and redesigned a residential unit at Shodair Children’s Hospital. She has also collaborated on a sustainable master plan for the Old Faithful complex in Yellowstone National Park. The Yellowstone project provided invaluable client and firm interaction as well as experience dealing with public input and discussion on sensitive sustainable, aesthetic, and historical issues.
